
Kristen Anne Bell, born July 18, 1980 [1in the United States of America she is an American actress. Following her beginnings in acting as a stage performer at the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University, Bell made her Broadway stage debut in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. She also appeared in the Broadway revival of The Crucible the year after. Later, she starred in the action thriller Spartan (2004). The film was also recognized for her portrayal of Becky Thatcher in the Adventures of Tom Sawyer. In the year following she made her Broadway debut in a rerun of The Crucible. In the 2014 film the series, she reprised her part in the role of the main character and in the 2019 revival. Bell starred in the musical Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical (2005) as Mary Lane. This was an opportunity to reprise her role from her New York musical. Bell was also in Heroes, a superhero-themed drama in which she played Elle Bishop, from 2007 until in 2008. Bell played the narrator in the title role for the Teen Drama series Gossip Girl. The 2021 sequel will have her reprising this role. Bell was also Showtime comedian House of Lies' lead actress, Jeannie van de Hooven. Bell played Eleanor Shellstrop, the leading part of the critically-acclaimed NBC comedy series The Good Place. She was nominated for an Golden Globe Award. Bell was also the lead character on the streaming series The Woman in the house Just across the street from The Girl in the Window.
