Anamaria is an Romanian Actress. She won the British Academy Television Award of Best Actress during The Channel 4 Film Sex Traffic. She can fluently speak French, German English, and Romanian. Her father, who is a teacher of theatre in one of the top Romanian drama schools, is also an instructor in theatre. In the Mangalia Gala of Young Actors, she won the Best Female Actor Award 2000. She was chosen as a European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in 2008. It won her numerous accolades, such as an award from the European Film Award Best Actress to London Film Critics. The actress starred as a Romanian actress in Cristian Mungiu's 4 luni3 two days (four months, three weeks and two three weeks and two days) and was given three weeks, four months and two days) which was awarded the Palme d'Or and other prizes at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Additionally, she was a part in the film of Francis Ford Coppola Youth Without Youth. In 2008, Marinca portrayed Yasim in BBC's five episode The Last Enemy. Marinca played roles in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as well as the Romanian drama Boogie. Then, she played major roles in 2014's Fury in which she portrayed Irma who was the German Aunt of Emma.
