Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Taylor is a famous American actor and producer who is best recognized for her roles played on the television series Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist and the television show The Mentalist. She received an undergraduate degree in African-American Studies at Brown University as well as a Masters in Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School for the Art New York University. Aunjanue has a reputation as an American actress also known as producer and director. She has worked in both film and television. She began her acting career as a theater actress and then appeared in several shows on television as well as independent and mainstream movies. She gained fame for playing Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. Then, she made an appearance on BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. In 1995, she made her acting debut in The Tempest as Ariel.
